WHAT DOES THE LIFETIME GUARANTEE COVER?
The Garstin 1871 lifetime guarantee covers defects in the materials and flaws in the construction or assembly of the product you have purchased.
IS THERE A FAIR WEAR AND TEAR POLICY?
To prolong the life of your product it is sensible for you to care for it in a responsible way. We reserve the right to determine if a product has been cared for correctly. If it has been subjected to extremely heavy usage or misuse rather than a defect or material failure we may not be able to offer the lifetime promise but we may be able to offer a paid repair service to help fix the issues you are experiencing at a reasonable rate to you. We will of course review each issue on an individual basis and give a fair assessment.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO RECEIVE SUPPORT WITH A PRODUCT?
Please simply email us on contact@garstin1871.com with a description and pictures of the issue that requires fixing. Please provide your order number / proof of purchase and we will then get back to you on next steps.
I HAVE A SECOND HAND BAG, IS THE LIFETIME GUARANTEE VALID?
We do not guarantee second hand or goods purchased on 3rd party reseller websites.
DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE ITEM TO BE RETURNED TO YOU?
If the product with the issue was purchased within the last 12 months we will cover all associated costs of sending it to our workshop and back to you repaired. After 12 months there will be a charge but we will discuss with you in person and work on a cost effective solution.
